Our agriturismo is located along the Tenna river, in Montefortino, Roman village, in the middle of Sibillini national park, a wonderful valley in the middle Italy, with great verdant greenery, close to the majestic Priora mountain and the fascinating Sibilla where legend, fairytail and witched story dwell in.

HISTORY

The Mill

The mill was built in the fourteenth century, and it really worked as a mill for so long time that the flour smell still flows in the air, surrounded with wooded hills, an invitation either to “harcore” excursions or relaxing walking through the countryside.

Typical Local Dishes

Our menu provide for all the typical local dishes: soup, polentone, home made pasta, lamb, porcini mushrooms and truffles, and many other foods, all of them home made product with genuine ingredients, from ours production.

The Rooms

We offer large and luminous rooms, with adjoining bathroom, heating, TV, phone and hotel amenities, also equipped for families with children. The place is so quiet, you will be leaded along your holyday with the sound of the forest: bird song, the wind through the trees and the river going by with his ancient whisper.

The Excursions

We also suggest to our guest: trekking activities or mountain bike excursion through the Sibillini nation park, sportfishing, cultural visit to Montefortino and his gallery dedicated to Fortunato Duranti, and to others medieval villages in the area, and some place of interest, as: Infernaccio gorge, S. Leonardo hermitage, Pilato lake, Sibilla and Vettore mountain, and Castelluccio Plain, full of worm colors during the blooming season.
